Local comforts at your door step
Island Bazaar went from a tiny boutique in Malé, Maldives to a global platform in early March when we finally brought to you our online shop. it has come at a time where the world is going through a public health crisis therefore impacting everyone from all walks of life.
In hopes of finding a silver lining in these challenging times, today we wanted to let you know that we have expanded the collections on our website. with the introduction of our Local Artisanal Brands. These were already existing brands and artisans in our physical boutique. Over the coming days and weeks we will be expanding this collection to give you the feeling you get when you step inside our boutique but online.
We have also added our Candle Collection to the online shop upon requests from you. So that now you can access your local comforts from the safety of your home or have these delivered to lift up the sprits of someone special.
To our wonderful community, we hope you are surrounded by love and in a safe space. We are seeing every day the importance of community, especially in supporting each other personally and supporting our local businesses. And as we try to adapt to these challenging times it is our hope that brighter sunnier days are ahead, and we hope to see you in our boutique when those days are here.
You can reach us via phone, email or direct message on social media anytime.

Island Bazaar partnered with Tiny Hearts of Maldives as our Island Loop initiative for the final quarter of 2019. For more details about Island Loop please go to the link on our website footer.
Island Bazaar started with a couple of cushion covers and a few artworks and a lot of support and encouragement from family and friends.
We made the artworks (in our home) out of our photographs that we took on our travels within the Maldives and on our morning walks around Male’ and Viligili.
