Terms & Conditions

When you purchase a product via the Island Bazaar website you are accepting the following terms and conditions which are legally binding. Please read through carefully before making your purchase.

Customers must provide their contact details including full name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information. Customers warrant that the payment details provided when purchasing products are theirs and are valid and correct.

PRIVACY

Island Bazaar recognises and respects your privacy and treats your personal information as confidential. All personal details provided will be kept safe, secure and confidential and will not under any circumstances be distributed to third parties. Your details will be kept on a private database for Island Bazaar use only.

PAYMENTS

For our online retail shoppers we accept payment only via Bank Transfers until further notice. We do not accept cheques, cash or money orders.

All orders are processed once payment has been transferred and bank slip sent to the Island Bazaar email shop@island-bazaar.com or messaged to the Whatssapp Account +960 7910013. Please ensure all bank account details and price is correct and contact details are correct when placing an order so we can get in touch should there be any issues.

SHIPPING ADDRESS & FAILED DELIVERIES

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that they have entered their address correctly. In the instance that a buyer submits an incorrect undeliverable address, or provides an incorrect address that gets accepted by someone other then themselves, or fails to collect their parcel from their post office within suitable time, this is an error on the buyers behalf. 

In these instances, if your parcel is returned back to us, it is the buyers responsibility to pay any onward shipping fees to have the parcel resent or sent to an amended address. In the instance that your parcel is unable to be returned to us, you will not qualify for a refund.

CURRENCY

All product prices, shipping prices and payment transactions on the Island Bazaar website are quoted in Maldivian Rufiyaa as well as viewed in seven other currencies, however we only accept payments in Maldivian Rufiyaa and US dollars for the time being.

GST & TAXES

All products bought on the Island Bazaar website include GST. Our GST number is TIN : 1017662GST501. Products shipped internationally may attract customs duties and taxes. It is your responsibility to pay any additional customs duties and taxes on the delivery of your products.

COMMERCIAL USE OR RESALE

Island Bazaar products are not available for commercial sale, commercial packaging or commercial use. The only exception to this rule, is approved Island Bazaar stockists who have been approved to sell our products (in full and in Island Bazaar packaging) at their approved retail premises.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Island Bazaar is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. You will receive an order confirmation email and invoice via email once your order has been received. Standard delivery timeframes are between 1- 5 business days; pending availability and payment authorisation. In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfill your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.

Orders placed on a Friday will be processed the next business day (excluding holidays). Orders placed on a Thursday after 4pm will be processed the following Saturday.

The Island Bazaar customer service team will contact you if the product you have selected is not currently in stock.

CANCELLATIONS

Please choose carefully. Once an order is submitted we are unable to change or cancel the order. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.

 

RETURNS

If you received damaged items, you have the option to request for a return. 

In order to process any refund requests, items must be returned within 2 days of purchase, and must be accompanied with the invoice. All refunds will be at the discretion of Island Bazaar.
